Part of my work is dedicated to the kinematic analysis of cable-driven parallel robot (CDPR) using mathematical tools such as interval analysis, continuation and neural networks. Examples of applications of this topic are:
- a 3D printing machine for an a 4-months art exhibition: a CDPR is used to deposit layer of micro-glass powder to create an ephemere sculpture http://www-sop.inria.fr/hephaistos/mediatheque/anne-valerie-gasc-les-larmes-du-prince-vitrification2019.mp4
- a "green" pick-and-place CDPR robot that does not use any computer and has an energy consumption at least 5 times lower than any industrial robot http://www-sop.inria.fr/hephaistos/prototypes/Green_robot_clara_2026.mp4
